Oh how scary it is to think of visitng SL now! I dread coming to SL. It is forever at war and nowhere is safe in SL mostly Colombo. You guys have to think about something to stop this and bring some solace to this place! SL has fallen out of grace!

It's ineteresting that many of us are thinking about the plight of Sri Lanka. But sadly so we are now not a healthy state to live at all. So it is higly unlikely that it could soon transform into a paradise!

Sri Lanka has been one of my favourite destiantions and I always enjoy a happy holiday in Sri Lanka! For many years now I have not visited this beautiful paradise due to its security situation. I wish the peace will soon be its people! Sri Lanka must not forget that all of its people truly belong in this country of diversity!

Guys why not you shift from war to peace and get going with non-violent means! Probably that could be the best way to achieve peace than talk rubbish and fight with your own people.

We were once a polite, friendly and hospitable nation. Now things have changed and people too are vicious and unfriendly. They have become very selfish and going after money. Our attitudes have changed and we have lost our values. So there is no hope for this country to get back to those prosperous days unless the people unlearn those negative values!

Sudarshana Indrajith

There will soon be more bloodshed in this country as these people are pushed to heavy fighting. They are fed with thoughts of war and there is no room for peace in their heads at the moment.

Sri Lanka is now taking a path which will one day perish its whole nation. These rulers are very stupid and inconsiderate. They are all out for mass destruction!

Chula Dissanayake

Yes, Sri Lanka is now VIOLENT! There is no doubt about it. People have become very hostile and vicious. So it is now a violent state.

Yes the Government of SriLanka should not encourage war against its own people. If the law and order fails the govternment should take responsibility. For the present situation the government is responsible. People of SriLanka are peace lovers and should not encourage war or violence. Rajan Sambanthan

What possibilities are there for constitutional reform and the abolishment of the executive? I think this is where the cause lies.. Can we devolve power and responsibility among the cabinet, the executive and the judiciary? Do we see any ways to achieve such change?
